This is the third house extension which Freda has designed for a tirelessly enthusiastic house renovator. While Marj Button has taken quite a few years to make up her mind which part of Melbourne's inner northern suburbs she likes best, she has finally settled on Clifton Hill. Once again Marj has selected Freda to be her architect. ' I wouldn't have anyone else. But I'm not moving again!' she claims. The photos show the extension to her house, which is a Victorian single-fronted terrace. A clutter of small rooms at the back has been removed and replaced with a large space for cooking, eating and relaxing, all opening out into a sunny north-facing courtyard.
